Students are continuing their celebration of Chinese New Year; the Year of the Dragon! By exploring fascinating folklore stories including the Nian Beast and Leaping Over the Dragon Gate, students began to learn some Mandarin words and phrases commonly used during this time of year. They also learnt about common Chinese New Year celebratory customs and to sing Chinese New Year song ‘gong xi gong xi’.
