Yrs 3/4

Year 3 and 4 students who have enthusiastically participated in the Bike Education program in the past week, led by Rick and Greg. It's been an exciting journey as our students have delved into the world of bike safety and honed their riding abilities.

Throughout the program, our young cyclists have gained invaluable knowledge about bike safety practices, equipping them with essential skills for navigating roads and pathways safely. From learning about helmet fitting to understanding traffic signals, our students are becoming confident and responsible riders.

We're incredibly proud of the dedication and enthusiasm shown by our Year 3 and 4 students during the bike education program. Their commitment to learning and their passion for riding are truly commendable!  Many thanks to the parents that rode with the stuents last Friday.  Your participation was greatly appreciated.

 English:

As we continue our novel study of "James and the Giant Peach"  we journey through this fantastical tale, our students are delving into the rich world of literature, exploring different characters' perspectives and imagining alternative titles based on their understanding of the text so far. In our exploration of the story, students are discovering the magic of seeing events unfold through the eyes of various characters. Through discussions and activities, they're gaining insights into the diverse viewpoints presented in the book, fostering empathy and understanding. Furthermore, our creative thinkers are brainstorming alternative titles for the story, drawing on their comprehension of the plot, characters, and themes. This activity not only showcases their imaginative prowess but also deepens their engagement with the text.

Mathematics:

Through hands-on learning experiences, our young mathematicians are delving into the fundamental concept of maintaining equality in mathematical expressions.

As they explore the intricacies of equation balancing, students are developing critical problem-solving skills and fostering a deeper understanding of mathematical principles.
