WELCOME
At the start of Term 2, St Joseph's School welcomed 4 new students.
Sera Taucilgitokai joined Year 2 in Stage 1, Ratu Taucilgitokai, Jay McKay and Annie Hollingworth all joined kindergarten. We welcome them and hope their time here at St Joseph's is an enjoyable one.
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Georgina Perkins and her family as they welcome a beautiful baby boy to their family. We wish them all God's blessings of love and happiness for his future.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
The staff and students at St Joseph's wish all our mums, grandmothers and female carers all the very best for a relaxing Mother's Day this Sunday, filled with much love and laughter.

ENROLMENTS 2025
Enrolments for 2025 have commenced. Please contact the office should you have a child ready to start school next year or know of anyone who would like an enrolment package.
BOOK CLUB
Issue 3 of scholastic Book Club has been sent home during the week. Orders and money are due by FRIDAY 17th May. No late orders can be accepted. Thank you for your continued support.
UNIFORMS
The uniform phase in period has finished today and students are now required to wear full winter uniform.
SCHOOL FEES
Statements for Term 2 fees will be available this week on Compass. Thank you to everyone who continues to pay their fees on time. This term fees are due on 7th June. If you have any problem paying your fees please contact the office to make an appointment with Mr McManus to discuss the matter further.
Please note that the school bank account is now closed and payments will no longer be accepted. We have a central bank account at Catholic Schools Office. The account number that has closed is: BSB- 082105, ACCOUNT- 001000905. To pay your school fees please use the Bpay number on your statement or call into the office where you can pay by cash, cheque or eftpos. Thank you
SUPERVISION
You are reminded that supervision at school does not start until 8:40 am and concludes at 3:40 pm. Students are not to be on school grounds outside of these times.
Bell times each day are:
9.00am Start classes
11.10am First break (Play until 11.40 then sit to eat)
12.00pm Recommence classes
2.00pm Second break (either eat or play, or do both)
2.30pm Recommence classes
3.20pm Dismissal
ILLNESSES & UNWELL CHILDREN
At the moment there are some children with coughs, headaches, sore throats and runny noses who are still attending school. Just a reminder that if your child is unwell please do not send them to school. Illnesses are spread easily between children and on to staff.
PUPIL FREE DAYS 2024
The teachers will be attending Whole School Staff Professional Development days this year on the following dates.
Thursday 6th and Friday 7th June
Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd July
Friday 20th December
School finishes for students Thursday 19th December

Just a reminder our office hours are from 8:40 to 3:30 each day.
Some times can be very busy in the office so if your call is not answered PLEASE leave a message on the answering machine and the messages will be checked as soon as possible.
