Year 7 English Classes Explore the GSSC Library

Our Year 7 English classes are currently being introduced to the GSSC Library, where they’re discovering the wide range of books available to them. As part of this introduction, students are engaging in a fun and informative library scavenger hunt to familiarise themselves with the library's resources.

All of our Year 7 and 8 English classes are scheduled to visit the library once a week as part of our Independent Reading Library Program. This initiative aims to support our student’s literacy development whilst encouraging a love for reading. Stay tuned for more updates about our year 7s and their library experience! 

Lunchtime Libraries

Our libraries have been jam packed during our heat wave. We have had many students visit to play games, read and interact with friends! Each of our three libraries are open every lunchtime and everybody is welcome to attend!
