On Tuesday 4th February Year 10 Agriculture students from Mrs Drinnan’s and Mrs Makar’s classes went to GOTAFE’s William Orr campus to experience driving the tractor simulators.

As a concluding activity to the Farm Safety unit completed in ECP, students learnt under instruction from Trainer and Assessor, Marshall Jacobs, how to start and operate a tractor safely. This included wearing a seat belt before it would start, raising the front end loader and navigating a course with obstacles.

Despite the heat, the students had an enjoyable experience.
