This term, Prep students will be learning about colour. Last week, they learned about the colour wheel. This week, they are developing their understanding of colour relationships and have started making rainbow themed artworks.

The Grade 1/2 students have been learning about warm and cool colours. They have started making a warm/cool colours artwork using an "oil resist" technique. 

The Grade 3/4 students have been learning about Pop Art from the 1950's. They viewed artwork by Roy Lichtenstein and have started making their 3D Paper Collage inspired by comic style pop art.

The Grade 5/6 students have been learning about "Op Art". They have been exploring optical illusion artwork by M.C. Escher and Bridget Riley. Students have started making an Op Art inspired drawing using pencils and markers.
