Whole School Activities

Lower Division

We have had a busy few weeks with swim school and play rehearsals taking up a lot of our time recently, however we continue to work hard on our regular learning as well.

In English, we completed a unit focussing on multimodal texts, where the story is told by using a combination of text and pictures, text and audio or even text and video. Our class used the program Book Creator for this, and Lower Division had a great time creating a wide range of texts.

We were lucky enough to be joined by Mrs Clyde-Smith and Miss Miller and Upper Division when each student presented their work, some of which you can see below.

Lower Division also had an opportunity to use some equipment we don't often have a chance use to in the form of a microscope and a stereoscope. These were set up in the Lower Division classroom where we examined some items and were amazed at how things we see everyday can look so different.

Finally, we wish our Year Two friends who are moving into Upper Division next year all the very best, while we look forward to our new friends joining us next year for what will be another wonderful year.

Merry Christmas from Lower Division.

Upper Division

The Upper Division students have been working very hard on completing their English and Mathematics units of work for the year. Students have also dedicated time and attention to finishing off their Uralla Show 2025 entries which we are excited to see on display in the near year.

The Stage 3 students had a unique opportunity to publish their podcast scripts in a purpose-built recording studio, at the "Maker Space" area of the Armidale Library. Check out our clever student's final products by clicking the links below!

Merry Christmas from the Upper Division crew.
