Captains Corner

Welcome to the first newsletter of 2025!

Our names are Eliana, Sahana, Duke and Shiv.

This year at GWPS is filled with many exciting and fun events such as the Production all the way to athletics.

As you might know the swimming program has just started for our Year 5’s and 6’s. The Year 3’s and 4’s will commence their program in Week 5 and the Prep – Twos in Week 8. Good luck to everyone involved and enjoy your lessons. 

All of the Innovations programs will start in Week three with applications being almost done. Innovations include, Maths, English, Virtual Design, Podcasting, STEAM, Film and Drama, Music, Robotics and Art.

Another event taking place is inter school sports for our Year 6’s – good luck to everyone involved and we look forward to seeing some great sport and, more importantly, even better ‘sportsmanship!’

NAPLAN will begin in Week Seven. Good luck to all the Year 3’s and 5’s in advance and please make sure you practice!
