SWIMMING CARNIVAL

On Wednesday 26 February, McKinnon Secondary College students descended on Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool for our first whole school swimming carnival in four years. Students of all age groups participated in multiple events across the day representing their House in an incredible way. There were many close finishes for races whilst other students showed off their diving abilities.

Highlights of the day included the Staff versus House Captains relay, where the staff showed no mercy to the Year 12s with a comfortable win, and the fashion parade which showcased the fantastic costumes from staff and students alike for our ‘Under the Sea’ theme.

The newly appointed House Captains led the charge with enthusiasm with the highly fought after House Swimming Trophy up for grabs.

Throughout the day we saw the leader board change, and the final result will be announced at the next General Assembly on Friday 21st March.

Well done to all students who participated in the day and congratulations to those who have advanced to the Kingston Division competition.
