Year 7 and 8 

As the year draws to a close, we celebrate the incredible opportunities and experiences that Year 7 and 8 students have enjoyed. This term has been filled with excitement, learning, and community building, and we are proud of the positive engagement shown by all students. Throughout the year, students have consistently demonstrated our core values of respect, resilience, responsibility, and endeavour, whether through their interactions with peers and staff, their dedication to learning, or their participation in the wide range of activities offered.

Year 7 Excursion to Funfields

The Year 7 students had a fantastic time at Funfields, a highlight of the term! Students embraced the thrill of water slides, go-karts, and other attractions, creating memories to treasure. This excursion was a wonderful way for students to unwind and celebrate their achievements throughout the year.

Vertical Learning Journeys

This term, our Vertical Learning Journeys offered students the opportunity to explore their passions, develop new skills, and connect with peers across year levels. A wide array of activities and excursions allowed students to opt into experiences that matched their interests. Offsite excursions included visits to the Melbourne Zoo, Melbourne Aquarium, Mount Macedon Walk, bowling and laser tag, exploring the Sunbury community, op shopping in Brunswick, the Planetarium, and golf swing experiences. Onsite activities ranged from sporting events such as field hockey, futsal, basketball, and downball to engaging in sudoku and other puzzles, mindfulness sessions, novel writing workshops, film analysis discussions and more

These activities encouraged creativity, collaboration, and exploration, ensuring students ended the year with meaningful and diverse experiences.

Celebrating a Year of Growth and Success

As we reflect on 2024, we are reminded of the strength of our school community. The dedication of our students, staff, and families has created an environment where every student can thrive. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to another successful year in 2025!
