Dear parents and carers,
The final term of the year has been a whirlwind of activity, celebration and reflection, marking the perfect conclusion to an incredible school year. Now, it’s the perfect time to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Secondary Sub School students and reflect on the events that have made this term—and year—truly unforgettable.
Camp
Camp was an incredible highlight for our Secondary Sub School students, providing them with opportunities to connect, challenge themselves and create lifelong memories. From team-building activities to outdoor adventures, students embraced new experiences with enthusiasm and resilience. The camp not only strengthened friendships but also fostered independence, confidence and a sense of achievement. It was truly an experience to remember! Thank you to all those parents who came along and supported!
Awards Celebration
Last week, we proudly acknowledged the dedication, resilience and success of our students during the Secondary Sub School Awards. It was inspiring to see so many young individuals recognised for their hard work and growth, both academically and socially. Thank you to all students and staff who joined us to celebrate these wonderful achievements. We are incredibly proud of all our students!
Graduation
Last Friday, we had the privilege of honouring our Year 12 students at their Graduation Ceremony—a momentous occasion marking the culmination of their school journey. The evening was filled with pride, joy and reflection as we celebrated their hard work, resilience, and remarkable achievements over the years. From inspiring speeches to heartfelt farewells, the event showcased the unique contributions each graduate has made to our school community. As they prepare to embark on exciting new paths, we wish them every success in their future endeavours and remind them that they will always be a cherished part of our school family.
Preparing for 2025: Transition Week
Next week marks the beginning of Transition Week, an exciting opportunity for students to meet their new teachers, explore their new classrooms, and connect with peers. This program is designed to ease the transition into the 2025 school year, ensuring students feel prepared and enthusiastic for the next stage of their learning.
As the year wraps up, we want to express our heartfelt thanks to parents and carers for your unwavering support throughout 2024. Your partnership has been instrumental in fostering a positive and nurturing school environment where our students can flourish.
ROOM 23
Term 4 has been an exciting and rewarding time for the students in Room 23. We have enjoyed participating in a variety of activities that have supported learning, personal growth, and festive fun.
One of the highlights this term was visiting the school’s Mini Farm. The children had the opportunity to get up close with animals, which brought a sense of calm and joy to everyone. Interacting with the animals allowed the students to feel connected and created a peaceful and happy atmosphere.
In the classroom, students have been working hard on their individual learning goals. They have actively participated in various learning activities, showing determination and enthusiasm. We are so proud of the progress each child has made. Their efforts have been recognised with rewards that celebrate their achievements.
After wrapping up our exciting Halloween celebrations, we shifted gears to prepare for Christmas. In the kitchen, we explored Christmas-themed recipes by baking festive cookies, which the children thoroughly enjoyed. During art lessons, students eagerly created Christmas cards and festive hats, showcasing their creativity and holiday spirit.
As we near the end of the term, we would like to wish all the students and their families a happy, safe and joyful Christmas break. It has been a pleasure to watch the students grow and thrive this term and we look forward to more exciting learning opportunities in the future.
ROOM 24
Room 24 had a year of participation. This term we have done literacy, science, cooking, sports, going to the gym and camp. Camp was enteraining, good, and it made us feel excited. On school camp we did rock climbing and laser tag. We also enjoyed doing Essential Assessment, reading and art at school. We worked hard and the activities got easier. Staff in Room 24 are proud of everyone's achievements this year!
