'Prepare today, succeed tomorrow'

Year 10s Kick Off Their Learning Journey

This week, our Year 10s came together for their first pastoral care session as a cohort under the new year-level structure. With the theme Prepare Today, Succeed Tomorrow, the session was designed to set them up for a year of growth and opportunity.

The session started with key information and important dates before students split into two groups to rotate through engaging activities. One session focused on team building, giving students the chance to connect and work together. The other encouraged self-reflection, where students explored their goals, work experience ideas and shared their thoughts on what Prepare Today, Succeed Tomorrow means to them. They also had the opportunity to voice their suggestions for the Year 10 experience in 2025.

It was a great start to the year, and we’re excited to continue building strong connections with our cohort. We can’t wait for the next session in Week 9!
