Personal Goods & Accident Insurance

The Department of Education does not hold insurance for personal property brought to schools by students, staff and visitors and it has no capacity to pay for any loss or damage to such property.

Students and visitors are discouraged from bringing unnecessary or uninsured valuable items of personal property to school.

Also, cars parked on school premises are done so at the owner’s risk. The service lane in Sturt Street is under the authority of the City of Ballarat, therefore parents are reminded to adhere to all parking regulations or risk an infringement notice.
