FACTS Day

We advise of a change to our Career and Pathways offerings at Kinross Wolaroi.

Our annual Career Expo will not be held this year and in its place all Year 12 students will attend the FACTS Day (see flyer attached) at CSU Bathurst.  The FACTS Day is Friday 9 May and is a compulsory activity for all Year 12 students.

Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Bathurst is the venue for the annual FACTS Day (Facts About Careers and Tertiary Study) for Year 12 students across the Central West on Thursday 24 May. FACTS Day is organised by the Central West Careers Advisers Association to assist students explore their future career and employment opportunities.

Approximately 120 representatives from more than 60 career and employer organisations, including universities, private providers, TAFE, Centrelink, police, and other government agencies, will provide information to 1000 Year 12 students from schools in Bathurst, Lithgow, Kandos, Oberon, Blayney, Cowra, Orange, Molong and Wellington.

Please note that FACTS Day is a 'closed' event and is not open to parents or guardians.

Commencing in 2026, our Career Expo will become a bi-annual event with FACTS Day attendance on the following year.

We are excited about this change and the wider exposure to university and industry that our Year 12 students will receive.
