Gardening with Mrs Neale

The students have been loving their lessons in the school garden.  We have planted all sorts of winter vegetables and germinated lots of seeds to stagger out plantings.

The F-3 students have been learning about where our vegetables and fruits are grown, some grow above the ground, below the ground, on a vine or on a tree.

The 4-6  students have started the ground work for their Garden Enterprise Project, which is designed for students to come up with an enterprise that utilises the produce grown from their garden.

Thank you to Craig Crawford for coming and helping us work out how to re-fill the water tank and Permewans Hamilton Mitre 10 for donating fifty dollars worth of seedlings. Your support to our program is very much valued and appreciated.
