School Closure Day Feedback

Last Tuesday during our curriculum planning day, the Sacred Heart staff worked collaboratively to explore and develop the behaviour curriculum currently being implemented at Sacred Heart Primary School. Staff investigated how we respond to student behaviour and what we consider to be minor and major behaviours. These documents will assist teachers when responding to an incident and how parents will be informed, which will usually be through a phone call and potentially a student reflection ‘Ways of Being Together’ form. The ‘Ways of Being Together’ reflection form is an excellent resource to assist students with having a valuable conversation at home. This may include reflecting on the importance of making good choices and considering different strategies when facing a difficult situation.

Towards the end of Term 2, students’ will receive their Semester One school report which will be assessing students against two new sections:

  • Ways of Being Together at Sacred Heart Primary School
  • Commitment to Learning

Please continue to refer to future school newsletters for further information about Sacred Heart’s behaviour curriculum and school reports.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Kind regards,
