Catholic Education Week is a special time for our school community to celebrate the rich tradition of Catholic education and its impact on our students' learning and faith journeys. It is an opportunity to reflect on our shared mission of nurturing young minds and hearts through faith, knowledge, and service.
As part of the celebrations, our school leaders—Oscar, Chloe, Layla, and Lenny—along with our Social Justice and Faith Identity Leaders, Rhiannon and Ava, attended the St. Patrick’s Day Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in East Melbourne.
Together, we listened to Archbishop Peter Comensoli as he shared the story of St. Patrick and how he found God when he was 16. He spoke about how St. Patrick dedicated his life to sharing the gift of God with others.
Archbishop Peter encouraged us to be like St. Patrick by allowing ourselves to be found by God. He challenged us to have the same courage as St. Patrick, to follow his example, and to respond to God’s call in our own lives.
