Re-homing Some Old Take-Home Books

As mentioned in previous newsletters, we have recently added many new books to our Take Home Book collections, which are now part of our new Systematic Synthetic Phonics Program. As a result, we have a large number of books that we no longer need. These books are still in great condition and are available for families to take home. I will be in the quadrangle after school this Thursday (March 6) with a tub of books for anyone who would like to take some. These books are yours to keep, and we do not need them returned to school.

Calling All Helping Hands!

Thanks to a generous donation, we have been able to purchase class sets for our Term 2 Novel Studies. However, I now have a large stack of books in the office that need to be covered. If there are any helpful "contacting angels" out there, please get in touch! I’ll happily share a bag of books and some contact materials with you.

Thank you for your ongoing support!

Thank you to the students who have completed letters for the members of the Sacred Heart Community. I can personally tell you that these letters bring so much joy. I will eagerly await some responses to share with the students.
