Student Voice

Last week, some of our classes were lucky enough to attend their Healthy Harold session. Here are some comments from our students:
Violet 1S - At the Healthy Harold visit I liked Shy the presenter and patting Harold.
Elijah 1S - I liked the videos and having a photo with Harold.
Krish 2S - We did a session called Safety Rules and we were learning how to safe outside. We also learned that when we are camping, before we go to bed, make sure to put out any fires.
Hannah 2S - We did a session called Safety Rules and we were learning how to cross the road safely. Go to the traffic lights, look left, right and left again. When the green light goes you can walk across the road. Make sure the cars have all stopped.
Markus 2S - I would rate the session Safety Rules 5/5. It was great because we got to pat Healthy Harold and the teacher (named Shy) was very nice. I want to learn more about being safe because I like to follow the safety rules.
Kenneth 2S - I would rate the Safety session 3/5. It was fun and there were a lot of activities, however, there were a lot of videos. I want to learn more about safety rules so I can stay out of danger!
Angela 3CBB - From the Healthy Harold visit, now I know more about body parts and how things work. My goal is to have less screen time and more green time.
Claire 3J - The session we did was called The Inside Story. We learnt all about blood cells. When the cells carrying carbon dioxide go into the lungs, they come out carrying oxygen.
Anekha 3J - I enjoyed seeing Harold the giraffe do funny things! I also enjoyed drawing and labelling the human body parts.
Mikayla 4A - From the Healthy Harold visit, I learnt about the digestive system. I enjoyed acting out how the digestive system works.
Ashley C 5S - The title of our Healthy Harold session was Respect, Relate and Connect. It was revolving around being respectful. We learned how to show respect and kindness. I would rate the session 5 out of 5, because it was fun and proactive session. Although, we covered most of the topic, I'd like to learn more.
Adriana C 5S - The title of our Healthy Harold session is Respect, Relate and Connect. It was about respect and connecting with people. We learned all about kindness and showing empathy. I would rate the session 4 out of 5, because I knew some of the things, but it was still great. I'd like to do this again, because I like seeing Harold and the activities are fun.
Warren 6S - I enjoyed the opportunity to work with a group and identify both respectful and disrespectful behaviour in different situations. This helped us all identify appropriate behaviour in different situations and public places.
Zachary 6S - The video's were great and very relatable to our lives. We learnt different coping strategies to try when we were experiencing negative feelings.
Jasper 6D - Our session was called Respect, Relate and Connect. I learnt how to understand people and their different personalities.
Shahbaaz 6D - During the Healthy Harold visit, I learnt how to use Emojis correctly and what they mean to different people.
