A Message from the Principal
Mrs Pauline Long
Dear Parents and Carers,
Thank you to the many families who attended our first family mass for 2025 last Sunday morning. The students who read were amazing and I received so many comments from the parishioners about how wonderful it was to have young children so involved. Thanks to Mrs Michelle Cortis for organising the fun games after the mass and to the parents who contributed to morning tea, thank you.
Don’t forget the first Sunday of each month will be a family mass so please note this date in your calendars. All our students and families are invited to attend.
I am looking forward to seeing many parents and carers at our meeting this Wednesday at 6.00pm in the library. Attending is a great way to make new friends and contribute to our school community.
We still have a vacancy on our School Advisory Council. This committee looks at many aspects of school life for example: How do we promote our Catholic School within the Quirindi Community?
The council operates under the Diocese of Armidale Catholic School Advisory Council Constitution. The role of the School Advisory Committee is to support the mission of Catholic Education in the school by working with the Principal and Parish Priest to provide guidance and support to the wider school community. The principal has the responsibility for the day to day leadership and management of the school.
The School Advisory Council has responsibility to advise in the following areas:
Good luck to our students attending the Winter Trials in Armidale this Friday:
Have a happy week
