Classroom Walk-throughs and Observations

Classroom observations conducted this term at Gympie East State School have provided valuable insight into the high-quality teaching and learning taking place across year levels. The observations highlighted that students are progressing well towards their assessment goals, with a strong understanding of what is required to achieve a C, B, or A standard. This clarity is helping students take ownership of their learning and strive for success.

This term, students are focusing on writing information texts. Observations highlighted the purposeful use of language elements, descriptive language and text structure as students worked to communicate clearly and effectively with their intended audience. It’s wonderful to see our students so engaged and confident in their learning journey. Well done to all staff and students for their continued efforts and dedication!
