'Free to Be Me' Spaces and Play Leader Project
Selected student leaders from years 5 & 6 have begun participating in this 'Free to Be Me'project. The students have shown respect and care during the first lesson. We are excited to see what they discover when they audit our school's play spaces.
Respectful Relationships
All year levels have begun working on Unit 1 of the Resilience, Rights and Respectful Relationships program. Our preps have completed Unit 1 and have begun work on Unit 2.
The following link will bring you to the page where you will find each of the NEW and improved manuals that include further information on the program and detailed lesson plans for each year level.
Unit 1 - Emotional literacy - where students develop the ability to be aware of, understand and use information about the emotional state of themselves and others.
Topic 2: Personal and cultural strengths - Students develop a vocabulary to help them recognise and understand strengths and positive qualities in themselves and others. They identify the values and strengths they have learnt from role models within their families and culture to think about how this guidance helps them to treat others with respect. They consider how to draw on these strengths to engage with the challenges and opportunities that life presents.
