Grade 3 News If you happened to be walking past the Year 3 classrooms on Wednesday you probably would have done a double take! Yes, you saw right… We had some unusual visitors. Some had scales, sharp teeth and wings. The Year 3 students had an unforgettable experience during their incursion! The room buzzed with excitement as curious young minds got up close with snakes, a baby crocodile, an owl, frogs, a possum and lizards. Dressed head to toe in their favourite animal outfits, the students celebrated their Curiosity topic for the term. Our topic focused on how location impacts the environment and living things. So, what better way to celebrate what we have learnt so far and meet some Australian native animals. There were squeals of surprise, wide eyes and lots of brave hands eager to touch and hold the scaly visitors. It was a thrilling and educational adventure that sparked wonder, questions, and a new love for the amazing creatures that share our world.
