SOUTHPORT DISTRICT SWIMMING CARNIVAL - A DAY OF SUCCESS!
Congratulations to all the students who competed at the Southport District Swimming Carnival! It was a fantastic day filled with incredible performances, determination, and team spirit.
Our swimmers gave it their all in the pool, with many achieving personal best times and showcasing their hard work and dedication. Beyond the races, it was wonderful to see students cheering each other on, offering encouragement, and celebrating every achievement—big or small. The sportsmanship and support displayed throughout the day made it a truly special event.
A huge congratulations to those who have progressed to Division, which will take place on Friday, 7th March, at Oakleigh Recreation Centre.

CRICKET COACHING SESSIONS BEGIN!
Students in Grades 2, 3, 4, and 5 have an exciting opportunity to develop their cricket skills with specialised coaching sessions led by Cricket Australia coaches! These sessions will take place during PE classes on Mondays and Wednesdays for the next four weeks.
Throughout the program, students will focus on key cricket skills, including throwing, catching, bowling, and batting, helping them build confidence and improve their technique.
This fantastic program has been made possible through the Sporting Schools Grant we received this term, ensuring our students have access to high-quality coaching and active learning experiences. We look forward to seeing their skills grow over the coming weeks!
Kind regards,
Andrew Beattie
