Sustainable snapshot

City of Casey offers rebates to support residents with reducing their household waste.

Each household is eligible for one rebate per category:

• Cloth nappies - 50% of the purchase price with a maximum refund of $100. Includes cloth and swim nappies, reusable inner liner for nappies, reusable wipes, wet bags, reusable nursing breast pads.
• Reusable sanitary products - 50% of the purchase price with a maximum refund of $50. Includes sanitary pads, sanitary cups, leak-proof underwear and wet bags.
• Compost unit - a compost bin will receive a rebate of $30, a bio fermenter will receive a rebate of $40, and a worm farm will receive a rebate of $50, or up to the amount shown on your receipt whichever is the lesser amount.
