What a fantastic start to the year! As we leap into the second week of school, I couldn’t be more thrilled to share all the exciting things happening here at G.W.P.S. 

The year fives and sixes have completed swimming at swim world, and have had a fantastic time learning new strokes and ways to be safe in the water! Shout out to Miss Lawlor for helping organise it. Meanwhile the year three’s and fours have just began their swimming lessons and I’m sure they will have an amazing time !

Congratulations to everyone who applied for the Innovations program in Semester 1! The selected participants have been announced. The program will begin in week four, and I’m excited to see the incredible innovations that will be showcased this semester! Well done to those selected! The innovation program will commence in week four onwards. Can’t wait to see what the incredible innovations have in store for this semester. 

The Year 6s have just begun inter-school sports for 2025 and started their first practice session last Friday. Their first matches will begin in week 4. Good luck to everyone!
