In Term One, 3C students have been delving into the world of storytelling by exploring character profiles in both Reading and Writing. Through reading engaging mentor texts, they have been analysing how authors develop characters using descriptions, actions, and dialogue. 

In Writing, students have been crafting their own character profiles, considering personality traits, motivations, and how their characters react to challenges. They extended their ideas by utilising their Writing Seeds books to brainstorm details, ensuring their characters feel authentic and engaging. 

This focus on character development is helping students build deeper connections to the stories they read and write, enhancing their creativity and comprehension skills.
