Principal's Message

Dear Holy Family Community,
What's been happening this week at Holy Family?
It’s been an exciting and busy week here at Holy Family! On Monday, we kicked things off with the Holy Family Annual Swimming Carnival at PLC, filled with great school spirit and outstanding sportsmanship. It was wonderful to see our students cheering each other on and giving their best in every race! Sincere thanks to our wonderful parent volunteers and to Mrs Coco for her outstanding preparation. Meanwhile our K- Year One students engaged in some fun Water Safety activities.
Years 3-6 girls had the pleasure of meeting with Mrs. Brenda Timp, Principal of Mercy College. Mrs. Timp spoke to the girls about the many wonderful opportunities available at Mercy College and personally invited them to attend their Open Day on Sunday March 2nd. It was an inspiring meeting, and we look forward to seeing the girls continue to grow and explore their future educational paths.
We also had a fantastic week with gym lessons, and the Band and Strings Programs officially commenced, with students diving into their musical journeys. It was wonderful to see so many parents supporting the students. We look forward to the band and strings showcasing their musical talents in the near future.
Our school website photos and videography were in full swing, capturing all the energy and excitement of our school community. Thank you to Mrs Abood for her efforts in updating the school website.
And tonight, we’re looking forward to wrapping up the week with the Welcome BBQ for Kindy parents and new families. It's a wonderful chance to connect and celebrate the start of another fantastic year! Sincere thanks to Mel D'Arcy and our Year 6 parents for organising this great event to bring families together.
Meet the Teacher Conferences
Next week, you will have the opportunity to connect with your child's teacher and discuss your child's goals and hopes for the year. It's a great opportunit to build a strong partnership between home and school as we continue to support your child's learning and growth.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Every Day Matters
I would like to kindly remind all parents that non-school appointments, such as dentist visits, medical checkups, or other personal matters, should ideally be scheduled after school hours whenever possible. This will help ensure that students do not miss out on important learning time.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us prioritise your child's education. If you need to arrange an appointment during the school day, please do so only in exceptional cases and with advance notice. Thank you for your support in ensuring our students continued academic success.
Kindest regards
Pauline Dinale - Principal
