Around Our Level

Last week our Prep students and families enjoyed catching up for a social gathering at Warrien Reserve in North Croydon. It was a wonderful opportunity for our new families to get to know each other in a relaxed setting and an opportunity for all our students to play in the park and form new friendships. A big thank you to Mrs Butler and Mrs James for attending our Prep Picnic. It certainly was a fun night!

In Maths, we have been learning about numbers 1 to 10, counting forwards and backwards, playing buzz, corners, and using manipulatives to count and make collections to 10.

In History, we have been learning about ‘Family Celebrations’, such as birthdays and Easter. We made a ‘Birthday Graph’ for our classroom.

In Geography, we have been learning about ‘natural and man-made features’.

This week our Prep students have taken home their first book to read and a homework sheet. They were very excited to practise their skills at home.
