Parent Helper

Parent Helper Information Session
North Melbourne Primary School values strong school-home partnerships, and our teachers appreciate parent support in the classroom.
Join us for a Parent Helpers Information session on Thursday 20th February, 9:15 am – 9:45 am at our Molesworth Street Campus. This session is offered to all families across Prep to Six and will provide practical guidance and what to expect when assisting and supporting students in the classroom, as well as understanding key school policies, including Child Safe & Wellbeing and Volunteer Policies.
Whilst we will touch on literacy and numeracy strategies, we will also discuss other ways you can volunteer at the school, including supporting in other learning areas, camps, excursions, and events.
This is not compulsory, however is highly beneficial for parents wishing to assist in classrooms or support their child’s learning in other areas of the school.
Following the session, our Parents and Friends Committee will host a morning tea from 9:45 am – 10:30am which parent attendees are welcome to attend.
Please register your attendance.
