Swimming Carnival

Carlton North Primary School Swimming Sports

Today our Year 3-6 students participated in an exciting and energetic day of swimming at Fitzroy Pool for the Carlton North Primary School Swimming Sports. Students from 3-6 swam their hearts out, showcasing their swimming skills and sportsmanship in a variety of races and events. It was an incredible day with a focus on participation, inclusion, fun and friendly competition.

Our students participated in individual in the 50m and 25m events. Some also participated in the relay race against the Teachers and Parents (with a controversial win to the Parents!)

It was wonderful to see so many students pushing themselves and demonstrating their growth and confidence in the water. A special congratulations goes to the students who placed in their events and will be invited to the District Sports next week Feb 27th. The Compass note for that will go out soon.

The day was made even more enjoyable by the incredible support from parents and teachers who came along to volunteer for a range of jobs at the pool and to also cheer on the swimmers. The positive energy on the poolside and the encouragement from families and students helped make the day a memorable one.

Thanks so much!
