STEM and Kitchen Garden

 

Year 3 students are enjoying their technology unit on ‘Transports of the Future’ This week they studied drones and made propellers, using electric motors to make them spin. Year 4 students investigated packaging materials to test the strength and suitability of various materials.

 

In the kitchen, Foundation students are cooking with eggs and Year 1/2 are making various forms of bread. We were very excited to finally harvest a cauliflower and a cabbage. These will be used to make soup next week.

 

A special thank you and acknowledgement to the kitchen captains and other helpers (Alba, Jawahir, Aisha, Rama) who stepped in last week when Yves was not there. They are amazing- capable and willing to anything to tackle that is asked of them.
