2023 Enrolments
Our School Zone
Due to major renovations that have begun on the George St building, we have reached capacity in our foundation-grade 4 enrolments and have limited numbers available in the 5 and 6 cohort. However, families who reside in our school zone or students who have siblings who attend Fitzroy Primary School are guaranteed a place at our school, which is determined on the basis of your permanent residential address.
The Department provides guidance through the Placement Policy to ensure that students have access to their designated neighbourhood school and the freedom to choose other
schools, subject to facility limitations.
You can find more information and answers to frequently asked questions on the Department’s website under School zones.

If you live out of our school zone and would like to enrol your child contact the office and we will add you to our wait list and let you know as soon as a place becomes available.
A copy of your child`s immunisation and birth certificate is required for enrolment.

Positive Futures Fund-Voluntary Contribution
Fitzroy Primary School families have the opportunity to support our students through the Positive Futures Fund so that all children have equal access to the broad range of programs at our school.
Our Strength:
Fitzroy Primary School is a culturally, linguistically and socio-economically diverse community who are united by the school`s values of respect, empathy and courage. The school`s motto "inspired by learning" highlights the broad range of opportunities available to all students that identify and nurture talents and create pathways beyond school.
Our Goal:
To ensure that all students have equal access to the full range of experiences at Fitzroy Primary School, regardless of their socio-economic background.
An Opportunity:
The Positive Futures Fund will be used to provide students with access to excursions, camps and school fees for families who require financial support. To achieve this, the school has established a means by which families who wish to make a voluntary financial contribution can do so easily, quickly and confidentially through Compass.
If you would like to support this initiative you can do so through Compass or at the office.
Our Positive Futures Fund has enabled students at Fitzroy Primary School to participate and attend the Grade 5/6 camp, swimming program and the purchase of grade 6 graduation hoodies. Thank you again to families in our school community who contributed and supported our students.
