The Anxiety Project

The Anxiety Project is a project designed by psychologist, Michael Hawton, and the NSW Primary Principals’ Association to assist primary students to manage their anxious behaviour. Michael Hawton is also the founder of Parentshop, providing education and resources for parents/carers and industry professionals working with children. This article, ‘Equipping children with coping skills for the years ahead’ which is the second of a series of six articles, explores how parents/carers can support their child to build a strong internal locus of control.
