Year 5

Science

This term in Science, Year 5 are focusing on the difference between contact and non-contact forces and how energy is transformed from one form to another. Students have had many opportunites to investigate electric, magnetic and gravitational forces.

This week, the students were set a challenge to design and build the tallest tower possible that can hold a ball and withstand wind. The classrooms were buzzing with energy as the students completed this task!
