NPS Mango Fundraiser!

Hello mango lovers!

It’s that time of year again, the time when we can feel a warm change in the air and start dreaming of summer. To get even further into the summer mood, why don’t you order some delicious mangoes? They’ll arrive in time for the Summer holidays and future you will be so pleased with how organised you were.

Another reason to prepare early for mango season is that there will be a mango shortage. Prices are up but mangoes are always worth it! This year the farm is expecting 20% of the usual crop. Because of this, they are offering 4.5kg boxes instead of the usual 7kg. Because this shortage will be nationwide, mangoes will be expensive this season and harder to find. It was a similar season in 2021 but fortunately, mangoes tend to run on a two-year cycle so next year should be a bumper crop!

Final orders are due on 24 October and the mangoes are delivered in December. The exact delivery date is at the discretion of the farm, the pickers, and the delivery drivers, but we will endeavour to keep you updated. We will get a notification a day or so before the mangoes will be delivered to the school and will communicate it.
