F/1 Amarillo (F1ABCD)

We are excited to share the experiences our students have had during Cultural Week, focused on the fascinating culture of Chile. Our young learners embarked on a journey into Chile's geography, traditional food, dance, games, and art. Here's a sneak peek of what they've been up to:

Cultural Week was a fun experience that not only broadened our students' horizons but also fostered a deeper appreciation for the rich culture of Chile.

Cultural Week was a total blast, and our students had a great time diving into Chile’s culture, geography and traditions! They got to learn about the yummy Chilean food, bust some moves to cool traditional dances, play fun iconic games, and even become little artists. Plus, having some of our students' Chilean parents drop by as guest speakers was a super cool way to get a taste of Chile's culture straight from the source.

Cultural week has been a feast for the senses! Visits from parents, dancing, making, mapping, cooking (and of course eating) have been experienced this week. We particularly enjoyed the collaboration of Azul and Amarillo which allowed us to visit all the F/1 Spanish teachers for activities over two days. Our classrooms have been transformed into Chilean jungles with plenty of creatures and critters spying on us as we complete our work. We rounded it off with the creation of a feast of empanadas and alfajores. We enjoyed our food together, after telling each other '¡que aproveche!'.
