A Message from

Hannah & Keir

We would like to acknowledge and honour the Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation as the traditional custodians of the land on which our school stands. We pay our respects to all First Nations elders, past present, and emerging.

Term 3 Finishes Friday

What a week of wonderful weather we will be having! A lovely way to finish off, celebrate and reflect upon the work that has been done and the connections that we have made throughout the term. School will finish at 2.30pm on Friday. We will have an end of term  assembly on the basketball court just before 2.30. We look forward to seeing everyone return to school on Monday 2nd October. Don’t forget that all students should have a sun-smart hat for term four!

Esmeralda Clementine Nelson

It is always exciting to share news of our growing school family, but there tends to be an extra pinch of magic when we celebrate the birth of new bubs to parents who met while working at our school.

On Thursday 31st August, Tom and Alice had a very big (or small) surprise when their bundle of joy decided to come two and a half weeks early - apparently Mum doesn’t need all that maternity leave!

Esmeralda Clementine Nelson was born at 10:10am, weighing 2.68kg. Alice has asked if anyone can find something at home that weighs the same amount as Zeldie?

Everyone is going well and settling into their new life as a family of six. Ragnar, Elkie and Pixie the cat  are taking their sibling role very seriously by making sure they start each morning with a Zelda check in!

Unit EK

Following on with more baby-related news, we are pleased to announce the selection of Julia Jackson-Jin to replace Edie Kenny next term, as Edie starts her maternity leave. Julia was a student teacher with us last year and has been a regular CRT with our school throughout the year. We are excited to welcome Julia to a classroom teaching role and know that Julia and Edie will ensure a smooth transition for our Foundation class.
