Child Safe

Ministerial Order 1359

All children have rights, no matter who they are. This includes the right to be safe and feel safe and to have your say in decisions impacting you. At Our Lady's, we actively promote the Child Safe standards in our school and in our community.

One way we do this is to make sure the children know there are adults within our organisation to talk to. We have four staff members who are trained Child Safe Officers with training occuring with the support of Catholic Education Sandhurst on an annual basis.

Whenever we run an event at school, we also alert our parent visitors to our Child Safe Officers. We do this in order to protect our students. If you are at our school and see something that doesn't sit right with you, we encourage you to approach one of our Child Safe Officers.

All adults have the responsibility to protect young people.
