Welcome back to Term 4 and with this warmer weather comes a fair dose of pollen for our hay fever sufferers. While Mr Watt is away, I will fill the vacant Vice Principal’s position for Mr Pfitzner. I look forward to working with students and families to achieve the best learning outcomes for everyone associated with the College.

During the week, Mr Pfitzner and I have been completing course selection information with all students and this information will soon be emailed home to all parents and carers. I will then host an online information session on Wednesday 18 October at 6pm for parents and carers who would like similar information regarding the options for students as they move forward through their educational journey with us.

Once parents have received the information selection that students have made, we ask that you please have a discussion with your child before signing and returning it to the College prior to 8:00am Monday 23 October. Please assist us with our planning for 2024 by adhering to this schedule.

Year 10 and 11 Interim Reports for semester two trade subjects will be released shortly. Please discuss these with your children and do not hesitate to contact the College if you require further information. In areas where staff have indicated that a parent interview is required, please make every effort to contact the staff member so conversations can occur that will benefit your child's learning outcomes. By working together, we can make a difference in your child's academic, social and emotional outcomes.

Lastly, this is a short term for many of our students and the work done in these weeks will set them up well for next year. Please support the College in reinforcing that the long summer break has not begun and to "make hay while the sun shines" is the best way forward with learning and coursework still to be completed.

As always, my door is always open and my phone is always on, so please do not hesitate to contact me.
