First Reconciliation 

On Tuesday 12th September, eight St. Philomena's students along with other children from our parish, celebrated their First Reconciliation. The town-wide black out did not deter the celebration. A moving ceremony was held outside the church by candlelight. Congratulations to Beau Joseph, Edward Hollahan, Lincoln Bailey, Kree Cain, George Donald, James Fealy, Isabelle Riordan and Will Smith. 

Fr Damien Locke- Farewell

Yesterday the whole school gathered together to farewell Fr Damien. We thank Fr Damien for his involvement and support of our school community. He has willingly involved himself in all aspects of our school and we will miss him incredibly. Fr Damien has been instrumental in the celebration of Youth Masses in the parish, which our Year 5-10 students have supported with enthusiasm. We wish him the best of luck as he embarks on his new position at the Cathedral of Saints Mary and Joseph in Armidale. 

First Holy Communion- Save the Date

First Holy Communion will be held on Sunday 26th November. Families of eligible students in Year 3 and other years will be notified soon.
