Year 11 Health

“Baby Week”

Creating Futures Together

As part of their study of Developmental Transitions, the Year 11 Health and Human Development students celebrated “Baby Week” recently.

They became very hands-on parents to their baby supervising them during the school day and learning a variety of skills including how to bath, feed, change and swaddle their babies. Some babies were even lucky enough to enjoy an outing to the Zoo with the Biology/Psychology classes on excursion!

The students used the week to form the basis of their Parenting Portfolio assessment task, chronicling their parenting journey so far.

Well done to all students for their efforts and we thank all staff, families, and students for their support.
