The Kinross Wolaroi School Fair is a tradition that unites our school and community in a day filled with fun, entertainment, and camaraderie. It serves as a special occasion for students, parents, teachers, and friends to come together, engage in exciting activities, and savor delightful food and beverages.
Preserving our heritage
Our fundraising efforts at the Fair will be dedicated to the restoration of the Wolaroi Mansion. Beyond being an integral part of our school's identity, the mansion holds historical significance within the Orange community. The Tower of the mansion closed off for safety reasons for over five years, will undergo a complete restoration. Once finished, the building will accommodate three new teaching areas, an expanded boarders' dining room, offices, and meeting rooms. With the addition of a lift and ramps, it will be fully accessible. It will once again be a showcase and focus of the school and our local history.

VOLUNTEER
Each year group has been allocated a stall to run on the day and we are looking for parents and carers to help us. You can volunteer your time by signing up to help on your year group's stall by clicking the link below.
Here's a list of the stalls each year group will stage:
- Pre-Kindergarten – Crazy Hair and Nails Activity Stall
- Kindergarten – Jar Stall
- Year 1 – Devonshire Tea Stall
- Year 2 – Jams and Preserves Stall
- Year 3 – Cake Stall
- Year 4 – Fairy Floss and Popcorn Stall
- Year 5 – Hot Chips and Load Fries Stall
- Year 6 – Lemonade and Juice Stall
- Year 7 – Ice Cream and Ice Blocks Stall
- Year 8 - Hot Dogs Stall
- Year 9 – Pulled Pork & Slaw Rolls and Vietnamese Chicken Noodle Salad Boxes
- Year 10 – White Elephant Stall
- Year 11 – Plant Stall
- Year 12 – BBQ and Drinks

DONATIONS
The Fair will be accepting donations every Thursday and Friday in Term 1 from 8:00am – 8:45am.The drop off zone is located at 95 Bathurst Road. If you have any items you would like to drop off sooner, small items can be left at Reception/Junior School Office or if large, please email Harriet Alker on halker@kws.nsw.edu.au.
What do we require? We're asking the whole community to help with the following donations ...
- The White Elephant Stall is still looking for quality homewares, children's toys, games, puzzles, sporting goods and clothing.
- The Jar Stall is looking for fun-filled jars (minimum value of $2) of edible goodies, toys, vouchers, make up, or anything else you can imagine that is new and will sell.
- The Plant Stall would love your donations and prefers to see them delivered just prior to Fair day, if you can wait.
- The Cake Stall will soon be making cake boxes available for donations of baked goods ... more information to come.
