Term 1, Week 2 2024
Welcome back to a wonderful New Year at New Adventure St Augustines
Vacation care over the Summer was Jam packed with fun activities including a trip to the Ice skating Rink and Gumbuya World ! Visits to Hoyts and Bounce trampoline park were also on the agenda, not to mention the fun we had at school too. Here are just some of the photos of our three weeks of fun.
Believe it or not Easter is only 6 weeks away and our Easter holiday is we on the way to being complete and ready to send out to families on the 1st March !! Check your emails for the program coming out everyone.
What have we been up to in the last two weeks?
Our first short week included some getting to know you activities and settling back into a normal school routine. I am so proud of all our children for having such a great start to the term. This week was our first full week back and we welcomed some new friends joining us from Prep and other years too. We sent the week taking about our families and friends and completed family trees, collected our favourite family recipes which we will make throughout the term. Aleishas Mums Jam drops are on the menu for next Wednesday and we can't wait.
We have also painted some self portraits, played some of our favourite family games and talked about traits that we may have inherited from our parents such as curly hair or being left handed. ( I love genetics and wanted to get into dominant and recessive genes :) Too much for week one I think !!!!
Next week we are going to learn about our St Augustines Family and some of the people that are very important at St A's but maybe don't work in the classroom !
