Wellbeing & Partnerships

Welcome Back!

We are so excited to have all the children back at school! Over the holidays, we have made a few upgrades to both the junior and senior playgrounds including: a top up of mulch to all areas, a lick of paint, new handles on some of the equipment and a new slide for the seniors. There are a few more items due to arrive in the next few weeks. Thank you for your contributions to the playgrounds by supporting the $2 Tuesdays, Colour Fun Run and other events during the 2023 school year.

On Tuesday 6th February, our Grade 5/6 students engaged in activities for “Safer Internet Day”. This global initiative aims to promote a safer and more responsible use of online technologies. They discussed digital safety, cyber hygiene, and completed various activities to reinforce these essential skills. Students learnt valuable lessons to navigate the digital world responsibly.

The main message of today was to take three simple actions when approaching online safety: Connect. Reflect. Protect.

Connect safely by keeping apps and devices secure and reviewing your privacy settings regularly.

Reflect on how your actions online may affect others or your safety.

Protect yourself and others by visiting eSafety.gov.au to find out how to stay safe online and report online abuse.

By doing these things and sharing the Connect. Reflect. Protect message, we can work towards making every day a Safer Internet Day.
