SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS 2024
School Photograph Day is Term 1, Tuesday 12th March 2024.
Your child/children will be bringing home a school photo envelope early next year.
It is vital that each child returns their own envelope, even if payment is enclosed in a sibling’s envelope.
As the School Photographer is responsible for all transactions, please make sure that correct money is placed in the envelopes (there will be no change given). Alternatively online credit card payments are acceptable (instructions are on your child’s envelope). Cheques are no longer accepted.
If you would like a Sibling photo, please see the school office for a Sibling Envelope.
All envelopes, when received, must be returned to the school by Monday, 11th March 2024.
NSW DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION BEHAVIOUR CODE FOR STUDENTS
The NSW Department of Education has issued an updated Behaviour Code for Students that came into effect on Thursday, 1st February 2024 across all Public Schools in NSW. We ask that you familiarise yourself with this updated code and show to your children to ensure they are aware what is expected of them whilst at school. If you have any queries with regards to the code, please do not hesitate to contact the school office on 6768 7065.
School Swimming Carnival
Our Annual School Swimming Carnival will be held at Werris Creek Swimming Pool this Friday 9th February. A note will be sent home this afternoon that we require to be filled in and returned to the school office no later than Wednesday 7th February. All students must return notes to be able to participate in this event. As it is a whole school event there will be no staff on site on Friday 9th February.
BEST START FOR KINDERGARTEN
Our Kindergarten students will be completing their Best Start assessments this Thursday 8th February and Monday 12th February in class.
Information on these assessments will be forwarded on to parents upon their completion.
NAPLAN
Dates for NAPLAN have been released and our students in Years 3 and 5 will participate in NAPLAN from Wednesday 13th through to Monday 25th March.
