Congratulation Koby

Koby has commenced his first year of school with an inquisitive mind and willingness to try his very best. He starts each morning with a bright smile on his face and eagerness for the day ahead. Koby is an incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful member of Foundation W. He sets a wonderful example for his classmates through his words and actions. Koby goes about his day in a studious and unassuming way. He uses beautiful manners towards others and is always a respectful listener.

In the classroom, Koby is always organised, and can often be seen or heard kindly assisting other students in their learning or packing up their things. He is an extremely supportive student and always helps others (me included) without ever being asked, and without ever making a fuss.

Koby loves spending time with his Year 6 buddy and joining in the different lunchtime clubs – with the Green Team being a particular favourite of his! He enjoys being a part of the BNPS Community, and makes others always feel so welcome and included.

Each week we love listening to Koby’s Show and Tell. He always shares the most interesting items and teaches us all about lots of new and wonderful things. Koby consistently aims high in all areas of his learning and shows persistence when trying new things. He has a positive attitude and always tries his very best.

Koby’s positive attitude and sense of humour adds such warmth and fun to our classroom.  It is such a delight to see Koby’s love for school, learning and his ability to enjoy everything he does. You uphold of school values of Care, Respect, Excellence and Community each day.

Congratulations Callum

Callum is a pleasure to teach as he always tries his best and stays focused. His kind smile is very calming when there’s lots going on in the classroom or when I’m out on yard duty. He makes people feel cared for in the way he interacts with other students, and therefore has lots of caring friends who look out for him.

Callum loves to laugh and share funny things that happen in his day. He has grown in confidence to speak in front of the class and is always keen to share his writing with us. He is very patient and forgiving, playing with others and giving his friends and classmates another chance when something has gone wrong. Callum is very aware of others and will often point out if someone is sad so I can help them. This is a great example of how he demonstrates our school value of community.

Callum has embraced different supports, such as using a pencil grip and noise cancelling headphones, to make the most of his learning. This shows his dedication to growing as a learner and understanding that it’s good to ask for help. He always participates and never makes an excuse as to why he can’t do something. His positive attitude and hard work demonstrate excellence and resilience.

Callum is a focused learner and is diligent in bringing his diary to show his nightly reading. He always makes good choices when sitting on the floor and makes eye contact to signal he’s ready to learn. Students have requested to sit next to him because they know Callum won’t distract them. He’s engaged in what we are learning and will put his hand up to share his ideas or answer a question.

Callum, you are a great role model at our school by being a trusted friend, demonstrating our school values and learning behaviours, and being positive and resilient when facing challenges. We are all so proud of you, keep up the amazing work and keep being you!
