Thank You 

A few months ago I made the decision to retire after 37 years of teaching. The school offered me a retirement function and I was honoured and privileged to have that last week. It was a wonderful night for myself and my family to have so many staff from Greensborough College present as well as many colleagues I have worked with in other workplaces.  

I just would like to thank the school council and all members of the school community for providing me with that opportunity to celebrate my working life as I come to the end of full-time work.   

I have worked at Greensborough College for the last 11 years and thoroughly enjoyed working with the students, parents and staff that my various roles have brought me into contact with. While retirement will be an amazing new adventure, I know that I will also really miss the regular contact with young people as well as working as part of a team of dedicated and passionate professionals who are always striving to improve their craft. I look forward to the occasional visit where I expect to hear about the many students who have often made my working life a joy. Thank you everyone and I hope it is onward and upward for Greensborough College from now on!
