Lalor's Got Talent 2024

Welcome back! Now is the time to start honing your talents and prepare yourself for Lalor's Got Talent 2024.Can you solve a rubik’s cube blindfolded, do 5 backflips without stopping, telling the funniest joke of the summer, or something else that will entertain everyone and make you a local legend?

If so, please sign up via this Google Form (https://forms.gle/q6LJTn3gSUCeQkys9) to be part of this amazing event which will be running in Week 9 (see poster for more details).

I’d like to welcome you back for 2024 and introduce the Instrumental Music team here at Lalor Secondary College. If you have any questions about the Instrumental Music Program, please get in touch with Ms. Allan who will be more than happy to answer any questions you have. 

Lessons for all students are scheduled on Compass and will appear for everyone from Week 3. Students receive one 30-minute lesson each week with the time rotating throughout the day to ensure that students aren’t always missing the same class for their lessons. If students are at school, they should always be at their lesson unless they are on an excursion or completing an assessment task.  

Although it is their responsibility to make sure they attend their lessons on time each week, staff are encouraged to support students attending their lessons via reminders when the roll is taken. 

With almost half of all Year 7 students singing up for lessons, it has been impossible to give everyone their first choice. However, they have been allocated to one of their top three choices.
