At St Johns Park Public School, Special Religious Education (SRE) is delivered on Tuesdays 9.10 - 9.40am. 

On enrolment, parents/carers are given the SRE participation letter to complete and return. After the initial enrolment, notification of changes to a child’s enrolment in SRE should be in writing.

 

The following SRE classes are offered at St Johns Park Public School in Term 1, 2024:

 

Islamic SRE            Kindergarten – Year 6 Class  (Commencing 27.2.2024)

Anglican SRE        Kindergarten – Year 2 Class, Year 3/4 Class and Year 5/6 Class     (Commencing 27.2.2024)

Buddhist SRE         Year 3 Class and Year 4 Classes (Commencing 27.2.2024)

Catholic SRE       Kindergarten, Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 Classes

Catholic SRE is provided by Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish (Mount Pritchard), authorised by the Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney. During the time that SRE classes are being held, students not attending religious instruction will be located in a separate space and will participate in meaningful activities.
